Word Phoria has made a name for itself in the Spoken Word arena as one of the most empowering venues in the South East. For almost three years, Hostess and founder Jessica Deltac has brought writers of all forms of poetic expression up to the mic: short stories, hip-hop freestyle, monologues, journal entries to professional spoken word performances. WordPhoria has brought personalities to the caberet-style event from NC and SC; from DC and Los Angeles and as far as from South Africa.

The Visulite Theater is located less than two blocks from CPCC Main Campus on Elizabeth Avenue. From CPCC take Elizabeth Avenue going away from Uptown to 1613 Elizabeth Avenue (across from the BurgerKing). You may park on the street or in the parking lot just past the Visulite Theater on the left. |
